Collingwood College Winter Festival

Collingwood College Winter Festival

Thursday 18th June

Soup in classrooms from 5 pm

Lantern Walk beginning at 5.45 pm

Come and celebrate the changing of the seasons… the shortest day… the longest night… the coming of the sun!

A Grade 6 child will come to collect each class from their classroom at 5 minute intervals. Lighting of the lanterns will take place under the mezzanine and each class will walk off in order.

All year levels and families are invited to attend. Please note: Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.

Start under mezzanine, walk through parking bay and around back oval, through the park and in through the Hoddle St gate, up the path and finish at the basketball courts.

What to Bring:

  • 4 pots of soup per class and 1 plate/basket of bread per family
  • BYO bowl or mug & spoon
  • A lantern

Please ensure soup is nut free and egg free; label all ingredients and state whether soup is vegetarian, lactose free, gluten free or otherwise.

Please label your pot, lid and ladle and take your pot home at the end of the night.
