Free Workshop for Parents of Children with Autism

Victoria for Positive Partnerships are running a Free Parent Carer workshop for Parents of children with Autism.

Please click on the link for more information: Parent Carer Workshop

Positive Partnerships is  a Government funded evidence based program.

Parents will participate in sessions about:

*Characteristics and impacts of Autism

We  support parents to develop stronger working partnerships with their child’s school and connections to other parents and community links.

Parents leave our workshops feeling empowered and with tools to move forward in support of their child.

The tools used in the workshop are very helpful when supporting children at transition points such as Kinder to school, Primary to secondary.

The workshops are a support for parents of children with diverse learning needs as well, so those pre diagnosis or without a diagnosis are welcome.

the funding for these workshops finishes in July 2015, therefore this will be the last time we will be in the area.

We would like to reach as many parents as possible so that they can be a part of the workshop as it has been of great benefit  to many parents nationally.

As we are aware that school drop off and pick up can sometimes be a challenge for parents they are welcome to arrive late and leave early if necessary.

Please feel free to contact me if you have further queries.

The flyer explains where to register on line and provides hard copy for those with no access to the internet.

For further information please look at our website The website contains information and support for parents and professionals as well.

I am more than happy for parents to contact me directly if they wish to discuss the workshop further.

Kind regards
