Message re Security

Dear Families

This afternoon (27/11/14) the school had to go into lockdown. We were warned of a potentially unsafe situation and we acted straight away. Police and the department’s Emergency Management division were contacted.

No particular harm was identified and all students and staff were safe. The area was secured and the children were dismissed when the school was deemed to be safe.

Please discuss this with your children tonight to debrief them on this subject. Please reassure them that a lockdown is purely and simply to keep people safe.

If you have any further questions, please contact a member of staff.

Don’t forget – tomorrow is a curriculum day … no students are required at school. Have a safe and restorative weekend.

Kind Regards

Keir Jasper
